I am a devote Wonderies Customer and had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE TODAY!
I am leasing a 09' Scion xB and have 6 months left on the lease. Yesterday I got a phone call from the Fleet Manger (Paul) and his assistant. They told me i could bring my Scion xB in today and Pay $10,700.00 (residual value) + tax and not have to pay for the remaining 6 months on my lease.
So i left work a hour early with my checkbook in hand ready to purchase my Scion xB and go home a happy customer. Things did not work out this way though...
Paul ends up telling me that i owe $10,700.00 + My remaining lease payments + Tax + Title + License for a total of around $14,000.00. I explain to him what was said over the phone and he explained that it was a mistake and they thought my Scion xB was a Toyota Camry and said there was nothing he could do.
Put yourself in my shoes... Its pouring today... i left my hourly job a hour early to fork out close to $11,000.00 and find out it is really $14,000.00 and they say they are sorry and they cannot do anything. And to top it off Paul tells me at the very end as i get up to leave " We are here to SELL CARS " with a smirk on his face.
Bad form Wonderies Toyota/Scion, Very Bad Form....
