Ordered a Baume & Mercier watch for my wife for our 25th anniversary that their site indicated was in stock and it accepted my order only to then find that the watch was not in stock and they were going to "source it" with a delay. Received no further follow-up so logged on to their site to find that there was no evidence that I had any pending order. Contacted customer service by phone to be told that the watch was not available, my order had been canceled, and they had simply not bothered to notify me. All of this 2 days before my anniversary. Poor customer service and abysmal inventory control. Would not trust what their website says about inventory in stock.
