When my wife and I finally made the decision to file for bankruptcy, I spent more than an entire month looking for an attorney that we were both comfortable with, although I never expected it would take that long. We spoke with single attorneys who were doing bankruptcies on the side to supplement their main business; we spoke with large companies that handled only bankruptcies in a sort of assembly line fashion, and everything in between. In the course of this search it was necessary to learn a great deal – including the fact that some attorneys have taken additional coursework and are accredited specialists in bankruptcy, while some are not.
It was only after this long search that we found Wadhwani & Shanfeld, although if we had simply gone to the list of those that are additionally accredited in bankruptcy, the long search would not have been necessary.
Our case was handled conscientiously, efficiently, and compared to the others, economically. Mr. Wadhwani listened to every question we had, and made every effort to put us at ease, without sugar-coating the situation. We recommend this company very highly.
