Everything was pretty good until I got my bill
|
The whole setup process was at times cumbersome, but went as smooth as could be expected. Once things were setup I was curious as to how much electricity we were using and how much it was costing. I was anxious to see how much money we were saving. SoCal Edison's website will tell you daily exactly how much energy you're using and how much it's costing you. No such thing with Verengo. So after getting my January bill on February 19th I couldn't believe how expensive it was. I used 3 Kwhs less than I did in January when I was still with SoCal Edison, yet the bill was $25 higher. That doesn't even include the amount the solar didn't cover, which was only about $2. In the end I used less power but was charged $27 more.
