My worst moving experience. We had inquired around and talked to several companies on the phone and all had various buyer beware signals. We chose VIP because they seemed to be sensible, communicative and able to address all of our moving needs. What actually happened was very different. The workers themselves were reliable but our estimate was nowhere near the final price. We had even given them a ceiling price that we could not go over and were assured even during our move that we were "well under that price". When they had us packed our bill was three times the estimated price and twice our ceiling price. The owner was belligerent and unrelenting so we just decided to pay up and meet them in a more formal legal setting later. The company warehouse is in a terrible section of town, it is shared by several moving companies and resembles nothing of what you see on the web site. Buyer beware, they will promise you anything for your business but when they have you packed up they can justify any increase in their estimate, and in our experience, will.
