I would love to give this company a better review. Their products are nicely priced and work great. But after my own personal experience contacting them to get a warranty replacement and reading the long list of others who have had issues I feel that people need to know what they are buying.
The products they make are great unless you one of the many who have them stop working for them. I am among that group of people that now find themselves with a dead set of headphones. Thinking this was not an issue due to the fact I was not even half way through my 1 year warranty I went to their site and submitted a request to have them returned.
Long story short: I was denied due to the fact I had not bought them from an authorized reseller. I had bought them from Amazon.com, but due to the fact that it was one of the many resellers on Amazon.com they denied my warranty. I was shocked. The product was brand new, it was within the time of the warranty and my issue was clearly hardware not my abuse of the item, how could they not stand by their product. Also how are you and I, the everyday customer, to know which of the resellers on Amazon are OK to buy from?
So here is my review: Love the sound quality, the fit is great and the price is right. But V-mode does not clearly explain their warranty, does not stand by their product and has, from what I can tell, a growing list of hardware issues. Please read the reviews on Amazon before you buy!
