I have had SR-22 insurance through Unitrin for about the last 2 of the 3 years
that I am required to carry it. I have never had to make a claim or even speak to customer service until today. Let me start by saying their customer service from my experience is terrible. I made a payment on their automated system like I always have for the last 2 years. This time apparently was different. For some reason the payment was never applied to my account. I had no idea until yesterday, when I received the notice of suspension on my license from the DMV. I called and told them the problem I was having and they offered me no help and were very rude. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. Like I said I have never had to file a claim but if I was to guess, I would say the service there can't be much better if they offered me nothing for such a small issue that could have been taken care of very easily for them.
