THis happened this months 9/2011.
I am a small business owner and do not recommend United Payment Services to any small business owners. They had me in a 3 year contract, with a 400$ closing fee if I chose to cancel in between. I had no idea about it, it was written in tiny little of a contract of 23pages in the middle of a udge paragraph.My fault I guess.... I was on top of it only using their internet portal, we do not have a credit card processing machine... $$$$ so much for such poor quality service
I still chose to cancel because there fees are way to high, their bills are everything but clear, you don't know where your money is going, on top of it there is an annual fee and the customer service is not helpful and very unpleasant.
I have found my salvation with Square and Paypal. With them no commitment, no annually fee, they charge you what they say. Done. I am clear...

Avoid companies like united payment services, they are all about themselves and not about their clients.
