United Mortgage Consulting/United Mortgage Center is a false company created by a group of crooks with the intention of stealing your money. Try calling the number listed and you'll get an out of service message. Too bad for me this happened AFTER they took $2500 out of my checking account. The people I dealt with in the short amount of time went by the names Erin, Diana and Tiffany. Erin came across as very friendly and went over my debts very carefully. I had a bit of a pause when she asked for the few to secure their services ($2499), but was so focused on the promise of large savings on my monthly mortgage payment that ignored my better judgement.
I checked with the California board of real estate (after they took my $$, sadly) and learned that they are NOT registered with them, have no licensing and that it is illegal in California to ask for any money before services are performed.
I filed a report with my police station and will be filing complaints with the DA's offices in both my county as well as Orange county. The FBI has also been contacted. I plan on filing complaints with the better business bureau and any other organization I can think of. Anything to keep someone else from getting duped.
These swamp scum are the lowest of the low. They prey on people who are in desperate situations and rob them of money they don't really have.
