We are a family with 4 girls and my husband got laid off. We were struggling and chose ULG to help us modify our 1st and 2nd mortages. After 6 months of calling and getting the same response, "your file is in negotioniations and everything looks great" everytime we called, we received foreclosure documents on our home. We had talked to our mortage companies through this and reported to ULG what was being said and we were told by ULG that they are just trying to scare us. When we received our forecloresure papers we contacted other qualified parties and conferenced our mortage companies. ULG put our second mortage company on the back burner and our 2nd mortage company turned our account over to collections and signed off on the loan. They only way to now save our home is to pay the 2nd lender everything we owe them in one lump sum - 43K. The first is no good without the 2nd. Due to the fact that this was not handled in a timely manner, we are now forced to quick sale our home to save our credit. Working with ULG has been a complete nightmare from the beginning. I suggest you do yourself a favor and not use United Law Group. They will promise you the world and deliver nothing but empty promises. This company should not be trusted with the future of your family's home!
