BUYER BEWARE!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!
I was pleased with the InStyler for about a month when the first one stopped working (mind you they send you two). I got the second one out and it blew not 1 but 3 breakers in my house!!! I called them and spoke with a rep that stated that I must have gotten 2 of the 40 they knew were defective! Are you kidding me! Yes, the rep said the manufacturer had made them aware of 40 defective ones! They did ship out 2 more, but 1 of the 2 did not work...so count them, that's 3 out of 4 that were defective!! I asked to speak to upper management since I already talked to several supervisors that put me through to their voicemail, and yep, I'm still waiting for them to call me back! I am also still waiting for the other one that was to be replaced. Called them yet again today and they said they hadn't recieved my receipt via fax yet and wanted me to again send them another copy! Sorry, but I don't have a fax machine in my house, so I have to do that again just to get my 7.02 back. I lost the receipt for the 1st 2 that were returned so I am out 14.98 already! The rep did say that his supervisor was going to send one out today, but I will believe it when I see it! I am really concerned that NO ONE TRIED TO WARN THEIR CUSTOMERS ABOUT THE 40 THEY KNOW ARE/WERE DEFECTIVE! THEY SAID THEY WOULD WORRY ABOUT THAT, IT WASN'T UP TO ME TO MAKE THEM AWARE! YET, HELLO, DO YOU SEE ANYTHING ON THEIR SITE SAYING ANYTHING ABOUT DEFECTIVE ITEMS THAT COULD POTENTIALLY BURN YOUR HOUSE DOWN? REMEMBER 1 OF THEM BLEW 3 BREAKERS!! DANGEROUS AND NEGLEGANT ON THEIR PART! THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!!!
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
