This company is dirty they expect you to pay full price for a phone, then have the nerve to disable majority of the features on the phone. I have the samsung r451c which is capable of gps, java, . I'm surprised they allowed the mp3 player to be on the phone heaven forbid someone actually enjoy it and decent web browsing well straight talk disabled all of those features (their web browser is worse then it is suppose to be). I'm surprised they allowed the mp3 player to be on the phone heaven forbid someone actually enjoy it. It gets even better after conversing with one of the higher ups I asked her if I bought their more expensive phone, if I could get the features I would like to have, and she told me it would be the same features I already have. I asked her why they are blocking all the feature and she could not give me a reason, even asked if it had something to do with data or the network still no answer.
Mind you that "more expensive phone" is $350 for a phone with the same access and feature of a $100 phone. Maybe it's just me but does anyone else see a problem with that. I have been with almost every prepaid and contract company, and this company is by far the worse. the customer service is impossible to talk to. And the limiting of the phone access, which I think is causing alot of the problems they are having with the phones. I'm in search of another company that actually knows what it is doing, I know why they are only sold at wal-mart now, kudos to the other retailers that have not went this route.
I have never been so disappointed with a phone or provider its a joke, stay away from straight talk STAY AWAY!!
