I filed a complaint with the BBB today. Our story is almost exactly the same as the other ones I've read here. We paid $2995 on March 19, of this year on our Visa Card the same day as the seminar. The transfer process was to take about 90 days, but its been 9 months now and we just had to pay the maintenance fees for another year. I even faxed our new maintenance bill in at the customer service reps request in October of this year for them to pay. I contacted our resort and the only contact that was made was near the beginning of the process when they checked to be sure that our fees were paid for 2010. They had not made the payment and we ended up paying another year of maintenance fees so as not to be in default.
When I made the payment on line today, they had a scam warning (too late for us) on their website about just such unscrupulous companies as this one.
The company does not initiate contact and we always get the same "we're working on it - please be patient...". I was even assured that the company is reputable on more than one occasion. If that's the case, why don't they return our money or finish the job they were paid for? You have to wonder if the customer service people are in on the scam since they seem so sincere.
I'm shocked to see that this company still has a B rating showing (when we started it was A or A+, but now on the main page it shows as NR (not rated). Best of luck to all of us in this ordeal!
