NOT EVEN "GOOD" QUALITY

I will start by saying that for the most part, the staff at the RTA store very nice and helpful in many different ways ( planning layout of kitchen, ordering all of the correct parts, getting some replacements parts, etc.)
The kitchen cabinets are NOT good quality. We ordered a total of 16 cabinets. HDF doors. Within one to two months after install, at least half of them had some kind of chipping, peeling , cracking, etc. for NO REASON. At first, the RTA store was willing to replace the doors (through the warranty) but soon after, they just stopped doing that. We were told that we CAUSED the damages (we did not) and that we should go through our protection plan that we purchased. Well the protection plan does not cover anything that occurs for no reason. This was normal use within one to two months. And that's not the end. The doors continue to deteriorate. We are a family of two. Both work full time (pre corona virus is when this took place) and don't spend a lot of time in our kitchen. We are careful, responsible, neat and clean individuals. So it's been about 6 months since install and we are not pleased with the quality at all.
The hinges and glides were not good quality either. The glides weren't smooth. The hinges wouldn't line up properly. We had to buy our own in order to get them to work. And that costed several hundreds of extra dollars.
If this can help anybody, that is why I am posting. I spent countless hours researching before I purchased cabinets. Had I known this to be the case, I would have purchased other cabinets. I would not recommend MDF or HDF doors or cabinets. They fall apart extremely easily. This information is not readily available online. Bottom line- after spending over 5000 dollars and I would says hundreds of hours dealing with issues cabinet related (and ongoing) we have a kitchen I would be embarrassed to have friends and family visit. Good thing nobody is going much of anywhere! I will post as many pics as it will allow.
I wish this were not the case, I wish that I could recommend RTA store to friends and family. I wish that they stood behind that products that they sold.
