Review 7/16/2009
|
I was referred to Sunita Sood's office by another attorney. While Sood is very efficient (especially when it comes to making sure she gets your money), trying to get a simple answer to direct questions is difficult. Some of her staff members are also rude and provide wrong information which causes customers' needless additional work. Sood also does not return phone calls concerning important matters. Would I recommend Sunita Sood's office to others? Absolutely not.
Update:
Sunita Sood is, in my opinion, grossly incompetent. Since I originally posted this review, Sood's refusal to communicate with me concerning my case only became more pernicious and led to significant problems with my Chapter 13 bankruptcy. After she failed to show up for a scheduled appointment, I filed a complaint against her with the California Bar Association. She continued to refuse to respond to written letters and phone calls to her office, and filed documents with the court that were not only filled with more errors, but also refused to provide me with copies of those documents - despite my repeated demands for them - until long after they had been filed.
There have been too many times that I've had to sit in her office (about the size of a postage stamp) filled with many other "clients" who also had to wait hours to see her. Several of these individuals confirmed that their experiences were the same as mine - one reported having to wait for three (3) hours to see her for a scheduled appointment and two others stated that if they hadn't already paid Sood, they would have gone to other attorneys. Due to Sood's incompetence and gross lack of concern for those who pay thousands of dollars for "representation" from her, I have just been forced to retain another attorney, at great expense.
Under no circumstances would I ever recommend Sunita Sood to anyone. I would strongly urge others who have been harmed by her to file complaints with the California Bar Association and to post their experiences.
