Unfair Housing Practices - Fair Housing Act Infractions

This company refused to correct employees who work at one of their properties who unfairly rejected my application. I met all their criteria — income requirement, background check, employment verification, FICO score, etc. But they had two inept employees who asked for invasive financial information from me and when I pushed back and called them out on it, they decided they didn’t like me and rejected my application. They gave 3 conflicting reasons for my denial and I’ve appealed to the BBB. Do yourself a favor and avoid their properties as they refuse to correct their employees when they cross the line and violate the Fair Housing Act rules and cover for them when they lie about it.
Only a more practical note: a resident was in the leasing office when I went to tour the facility and she told me “don’t move in here - I regret moving in - it’s been a nightmare”. That was at The Mansfield Apts on Wilshire. The leasing agent couldn’t answer simple questions like what happens if the power goes out and the only way to access your apt is with the electronic FOB.
They don’t care about their residents. They only care about covering up employee mistakes and making money.
