The owner of Surf City ChemDry was the most unprofessional person I have ever spoken to in my life. I called because I was moving out of my condo. It was the last day before my lease was up therefore I was forced to use the first company I called. I found an add from Surf City that said 3 rooms for $99. When the guy arrived he said I had to do "spot treatment" on the major stains. The only "major stains" were the normal wear and tear on the stairs (I didn't call you because my carpets were clean I called you because they are dirty). However when the guy was explaining how bad the wear and tear was he said he wouldn't be able to get out most of the stains. When I told them to just clean them for the price that was promised on the coupon the guy refused because he didn't want to leave stains on the ground when he left. But he said he couldn't get them out 100% anyways... So why would I pay $150 extra for "spot treatment" when you can't get all the stains out? I told the guy to get the owner on the phone for me and he complied. The owner told me I lived in filth and was a horrible person for wasting his time if I didn't get my carpets cleaned by them today for the price they demanded. The owner was unprofessional and irrational. I told them to get out of my house and refused to do business with him. I would rather die than give him money! His franchise should be taken away for representing ChemDry in the manor he does.
