I had a very bad experience with 'Skip' Roberts. He is head of Summus, an association management company hired by the Fairways community board of directors to work with the residents of the Fairways in Wood Ranch.
GI Industries caused damage outside my house on the common area asphalt due to a roll off bin they delivered in Aug '07. After being approached by Howard Glober (HOA Board VP) at my residence, I contacted GI about the damage. They agreed to remedy the situation. Myself and GI left 15 messages for Skip over the next few months. None returned.
7 months later (March '08), I rc'd a letter from Skip saying I was responsible for the damage and a bill would be 'coming in the spring'. After trying to reach Skip numerous times, I was lucky to finally get him on the phone a week later.
He was rude, he used profanity, he insinuated that I was stupid and then he hung up the phone on me. He continued to talk over me the entire conversation and I couldn’t get a word in on my behalf before he hung up.
I received a follow up letter a few weeks later asking for a certain amount of money to pay for the damage. The letter had multiple typos.
His letter says he is PCAM certified...hmm.
