I placed my order #AB-1757 for $186.80 on January 27,2010 on The Sultry Hair Website. The website stated that the order would ship in 4-5 business days. I received an order acknowledgement email from Sultry Hair a few hours later stating that I would receive another email when my order shipped. Which based on the claims of the Sultry Hair website would have been within 4-5 business days. The problem started the next day on January 28, 2010 when I discovered on my bank records that $186.80, the exact amount of my Sultry Hair order,was going to a Gurl Extensions. I knew that I had never heard of Gurl Extensions,so I emailed Sultry Hair with my order number and inquired about this transaction. I asked if this company was part of the Sultry Hair company and if so, I did not have a problem with that, I just wanted to make sure that I received the exact order and specifications for order #AB-1757 made with Sultry Hair. I received no response to that email sent on January 28. In fact, I received no response to my emails or phone calls sent on January 29, February 1, 2, or 3, 2010. I sent an email to cancel this order on February 3, 2010 and still no response. My bank has canceled the credit card transaction, but I had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to protect my account from future transactions with this Business. Sultry Hair lacks a very important customer skill, COMMUNICATION!!!!!!
I strongly encourage other consumers to look for another company that does this type of business. This could have ended much worst for me. I hope this review will save other trusting consumers from the inconvenience and possibly the lost of their hard earned finances.
