This was the worst experience I have ever had.
My husband and I moved a one bedroom apartment in Valencia to a two bedroom apartment in Tarzana. We were originally scheduled for December 30th, but because they do not have enough employees to keep their own schedules, they did not show up. 2 hours after they were scheduled to be at our apartment, they call and tell us they will not be coming and offer a $10/hr discount for the next day.
They were incompetent and broke our bed because they did not bother simply unscrewing it, but instead, snapped it off into pieces. They dropped a box clearly marked "coffee mugs-fragile" because they did not secure it to the dolly, and now I have a massive cut on my hand. It ended up taking them 10 hours to move us because they had to take the slow elevator that was farther away from their truck than any one of the 5 stair cases in between the truck and the elevator. 4 of these stair cases were between the truck and our apartment. There were periods of up to 45 minutes where nothing was being moved into our apartment and we were being charged by the hour.
One of them belittled me and insulted me all day long, telling me I am a "good girl" for making them sandwiches and then telling my husband that I am the kind of woman he likes, one who "serves men." He also, in his own horrid way, called me fat, stupid, and told me I would be better suited in a trailer park than in an apartment.
I tried calling his manager and he not only did not care, but told me that he found it all too hard to believe. All he was willing to do was talk to them.
I tried calling corporate and left several messages with no one willing to call me back. I finally emailed them a very angry and threatening email. 5 minutes later I get a reply of "Please fill out this claims form for your damaged goods." After back and forth emails, they finally understood that I wanted to speak to an actual person. The NEXT day, today, I get a call from their general council. "I am outraged and his behavior is unacceptable, but sorry, there is nothing I can do but 'watch him' and send you a claims form for your damaged goods, but seeing as your husband helped (yes, they needed my husband to help them) move the bed, we are not responsible for it."
Do not use them.
