This company helped me, my godfather, and his brother from losing our homes. Back in 2005 I was struggling and they were one of the companies out there advertising that they could help with my mortgage. They openned a new office in south florida and about a year ago i referred my god father to them. My new mortgage payment was reduced by almost half, saving me over 9000/yr! My interest rate was reduced from 8% variable to 4.25% fixed! I was saved so much money. THey guarantee their work to be complete in 30-90 days and it only took 5 weeks for me and about 60days for my godfather. I am not sure how long it took his brother, but I do know that there was a sale date on his property and they were able to negotiate with the lender to push that back to allow time for negotiations. the reps there are very helpful and from what they told my godfather, because they are FHA and HUD approved they can get interest rate from 1-4% now! (as of last yr he got a 2.75%) It suprises me that there is a complaint on here that spartan financial group took 1200 from someone and didnt help them, because they were very thorough and have a written contract that shows their refund policy. I am confident that there must have been some kind of extenuating circumstance and that this person needed a scape goat. I would most definitely recommend them, obviously i did to 2 family members! The only thing I could say could have been better, is the modstart program that they set up for you to track the modification process could have been more user friendly, but i guess not many firms have that anyways so, that is more of a critique them a complaint!
