Called Slade Law in April 2010 to see if they could work out a modification on our mortgage. Of course they said they could. After calling numerous times and leaving messages, I was able to speak to a person. Assured they were working on it. May 2010 we get sale notice on our house with sale date. Faxed to Slade. Assured they would stop or postpone sale. Calling every day to every other day at this point, leaving messages, speaking to a person maybe 1 out of 5 calls. Was Informed DAY BEFORE SALE AT 2 PM THAT THEY COULD NOT STOP SALE!!!! So not only did they not help with modification, I lost my house! Have last payment due to them in a few days, I'm going to stop payment. Not paying 800.00 after house is gone and the payments were for a loan mod that never happened. As far as I can tell, legal assistants do everything. Lawyer got involved on a Friday, sale was on Tuesday. Great work guys!! If.you ask me this group is a ripoff. Save your.money. wish I had.
