Skyline Security

DO NOT SIGN with SKYLINE SECURITY !!! I have received VERY POOR service: false alarms even though I am exiting correctly, fees from the city, plus the false alarm event remains on my record and police are then not obligated to come after another false alarm. Skyline is legally protected because no law has been broken. You will have little recourse except to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I have filed two complaints over the past 4 weeks and have seen no results; it prompted no contact from either Skyline or the BBB. After this review I am writing to the Attorney General and sending documentation. A tech finds nothing wrong. Checks are completed in person and also remotely on the phone. My emails are ignored and even finding a rep on the phone to address this issue has been an ongoing challenge. I called 11 times in one day recently. After a MONTH of this I still have the false alarm on my record with the city (despite Skyline saying they will take care of this and get it removed from my record with the city). Last night on the phone collections/retention (manager?) Jesus confirms verbally that yes, indeed I left within the time allowed but either the door was left open or "not closed correctly." The police were called to my house and it is documented that the door was closed and locked. I asked to receive this information in writing from Skyline but to date have not received it. Despite a whole month passing since the second false alarm event (both of which they somehow still try to blame on me) and my emails ignored and no calls coming from their end, Jesus has said several times, when I can find him, that I need to understand that he services many customers and that they are "bending over backward" to help me and that they are "under no obligation" to do this (which unfortunately is true). We go around and around in conversation and there is no resolution. They will NOT release me from my remaining 5+ year contract. I CANNOT use the alarm system. Maybe they can fix it, maybe not. Who knows. I cannot risk it and set it again and risk another false alarm with the city. I know these two events were false alarms and not intruders because the first time I was just across the street in my neighbors front lawn. I could see that no one was attempting to enter my front door. The second time the alarm went off 1 minute after I departed. Skyline Security is NOT an ethical company.
