This company advertised as a "Mystery Shopper" job in a local paper. These are usually fraudulent job ads, and appears to be the case here also. Even though no complaints or memberships with the BBB, they do want a credit card number and fee's to work for them. When I refused to give them a CC number to "Apply for a Job", they lost interest in me working for them....big surprise.
Any company that wants you to pay them money to work for them, or "Reimburse" you for money spent to "Mystery Shop" is suspicious to me. They were evasive on providing the correct corporate address and phone numbers. I did get customer service in Dallas, TX and then the corporate address for their Miami office. But still no legitimate phone number. I located it through more research.
Comments by others here and elsewhere online, it appears to be a fraud attempts to get credit card numbers, charge monthly fees of third party companies to supposedly provide a list of Mystery Shopper jobs elsewhere. This is a common job scam I've seen many times over the years. I refused to sign up with them or provide any services or information to them.
Even without BBB complaints, I saw a pattern I didn't like. They may be legitimate, but I have many doubts based on personal knowledge of Mystery Shopper groups. Rule of thumb I always use, any company claiming WAH or Mystery shopper jobs that ask me for a credit card number or bank account number to work for them, I run away with a tight grip on my wallet. They are usually con artist's after your money and have no intention of paying you.
