They declined a claim because the manufacturers name was on the box. The box is too big and packed by the manufacturer to prevent damage. So, it does not make sense to rebox it. The name of the brand on the box does not invite damage, so their reasoning not to cover it does not make sense.
So, this company took my premium for a condition they don't cover. Any reputable insurance company would refund the premium, because the policy was not valid with a pre-existing condition they do not cover. They would not work with me to refund premiums paid.
Meanwhile, I am out hundreds of dollars when I could have just used the shipping carrier's coverage.
Will never give this company any business ever again.
