This is the worst company I have had the misfortune to deal with. They are rude, dishonest and a bunch of crooks and should not be in business. We made the biggest mistake of hiring Fidelity Van Lines to move our stuff from California to Ohio. My story sounds very similar to all the other complaints. The estimate doubled once everything was on the truck and I did not have a choice I had to leave my residence. Then my credit card was charged for $736.00 one week after my items were picked up even though I had 45 days of free storage. Once my items were picked up it was almost impossible to get any answers from anyone. Jamie was my rep and she would not take my calls and on rare occasion that I did catch her on the phone she would tell me she would return my call and never did. I could not find out if my stuff was shipped and when the delivery was for 3 weeks, I was a nervous reck and this issue consumed my life and wasn't sure if I was even going to get any of my stuff specially after seeing their rating on BBB. Finally I get a call on a Satuday at 3:30 pm that they are delivering on Sunday and I need to have cash or money order and they never reversed the $736.00 charge on my credit card so we could not agree on the final amount, so the dispatcher decided not to deliver. A week later I get another call demanding an extra $1000.00 for redelivery. I had no choice at this point. When they delivered almost all the boxes were mangled, 2 boxes containing my fine china dished were missing and who knows what else is missing since I have everything in storage. This move cost me over $8500.00, my stress level through the roof. I would not touch this company with a 10 foot pole. This has been a nightmare to say the least.
