No communication what so ever
I had the unfortunate luck to have Joey S as my rep. While he may be a "professional" in this line of work, this will be the one and only time I will ship a car overseas. I repeatedly sent him emails (as he never did answer his phone when I called) regarding the appropriate paperwork necessary for export. He never did respond. I took the chance that the documents I sent him would be sufficient (thankfully they were) but I had no idea as Joey never did respond to my question. My car was then sent to New Jersey for shipment. And there is sat for 51 days in the middle of winter. 51 days and absolutely no word as to when my car would be shipped. I needed to have some idea of an arrival date so that I could coordinate my flights and, more importantly, I needed the car to arrive by a certain date. I emailed Joey after 45 days of them possessing my car to ask if and when they actually planned to ship my car. Still no word. After avoiding the stressful issue of this - I gave them my car - I don't know about you, but I'm not one that can just afford to forget about something that expensive. I did finally contact Joey's supervisor to complain about not only the in action by the lack of communication. Then I heard for Joey. The service on the other side of the Atlantic was stellar - not operated by Schumacher. Avoid Schumacher at all costs. They don't talk to you and they don't deliver on time.
