Schafer Piano Movers was a huge disappontment. I contracted them to move our piano. The movers never showed up at the appointed time and they never returned our calls to explain. 7 messages and 2 emails later we finally got someone on the line from Scahfer. We were told that a manager would call us back, but no one did. The driver's wife finally called to report that her husband was in jail and the Schafer truck was impounded! To make matters worse, Shafer was very diligent in charging my credit card for the move that never occured!! If you consider the time that we took off waiting for them to show up, and the receivers time waiting for the delivery, I would never recommed Schafer to move your piano. I understand that things happen, but not to return calls or emails to explain is inexcusable. They just choose to ignore us.
