The company owners advertizes on their website ( http://precisionplumbing.powersites.net/), and writes on their invoices that their CA license number is 027526. However this seems to be a lie. According to the CA Contractors State License Board website, there are no licenses under the 4 names they represent that they own: Precision Plumbing ( https://www2.cslb.ca.gov/OnlineServices/CheckLicenseII/NameSearch.aspx?NextName=precision+plumbing&NextLicNum= ), "Water Heater Depot", or the owners names, Ryan Dodson and John Gordon (See there). So they are operating without a license, while declaring that they actually do.
I paid $149 for a plumbing certificate that had to be done by a licensed plumbing company. Before hiring them, I specifically asked if they are licensed, and they specifically said that they are. The lender that needed the certificate refused to accept it, since he could not verify the license number, and I had to hire another company for the same job, and pay a second fee. When I called Ryan Dodson and asked for my money back, he hung up on me (twice) , and told me that I can complain to the BBB. So here goes.
