Review 7/10/2009

I purchased 4 cars, foreign and domestics from Reliance Auto dealer in Downey. I've been a loyal customer since 2001. The last car I bought in May 2009 with my tax refund was a low mileage Dodge Intrepid. Excellent interior and exterior; a show room condition. I wanted this vehicle along with three other customers.
David, proprietor/manager of Reliance Auto said, "This will be a three thousand dollar car but it is not ready to sell. This automobile is not for sale until it is completely inspected and ready. I agreed to pay the $3K price plus transfer fees and cost as it was, "AS IS" condition, and we shooked hands. I offered to give $500 deposit, and the rest of the money in two days but David just shook my hands and said it's yours, pay me later. He was by himself and really busy at the time. Reliance Auto spends at least 3 days reconditioning each of their inventory. Very meticulous dealership. I was ready with my money and a couple of days later. I visited the lot to see my vehicle pimped up. Lo' and behold, two other buyers were also there checking and waiting for my same Dodge Intrepid. I noticed the hood of my future car was empty. There was neither engine nor transmission. David said, "Sorry this auto is being over hauled. I gave you my word, the price is still the same." as he pat my back or choose another car in the inventory.
I made sure I paid the car off immediately. I wanted this auto even more for I know that my automobile is going to be reliable car, dependable and definitely in a very good condition. I highly recommend Reliance Auto in Downey. I give them A++++ for my 4 vehicles. Reliance Auto completed the transfer and I got my registration the following week. I am a lucky guy, Reliance Auto saved me time, head aches and thousands of dollars because of their honesty and integrity.
