This company has very competetive prices when shopping around for mold specialists, but I wish we had gone with the higher priced companies... Pure Restoration makes you sign a waiver releasing them from any damages and then they come into your home and destroy whatever they want, without any apologies. We had some mold in our kitchen wall and they ruined the floor. I brought it to their attention and they waived the contract in my face. It cost me $1,200.00 to remove the mold and $4,000.00 to repair their damages. The owner said he would have repaired it if I had shown it to him, but he never came to the job site to look at it.
Lesson learned - Next time I will pay for a more professional company- with good reviews....and they took the plastic zippers with them at the end of the job, to use at the next job- gross!

In response to Ms. Cates:
If Ms. Cates took the time to review the agreement, as one should before signing a contract, then she would have known, that Pure Restoration Inc. in not responsible for any damages during the mold remediation process. Nothing in the paperwork is in FINE PRINT. In fact it’s in bold statement and we even review this with our customers. Unfortunately, Mold remediation is a labor intensive job. We try our best to avoid any damages, but once in a while it does happen. In this case, unfortunately, as Ms. Cates has written, a small area of her hardwood flooring got slightly scratched. Our company strives to have a good relationship with our customers. In fact, had Ms. Cates contacted us regarding the damaged flooring, when she noticed it, we would have GLADLY paid for the repairs. However, she did not contact us. In fact she avoided us for over a month after the work was completed. We tried contacting her via phone, e-mail, postal services because a final payment was owed to us. It wasn’t until we sent a final letter of intent to collect that she responded with “you guys damaged my floors.” If the floors were such a huge issue, why avoid us for so long….?
Also, accusing us of using the plastic in the next job is absolutely FALSE!!! We are an IICRC certified company, and we try to be as green as possible, so we recycle all materials that can be recycled properly, and by saying recycle, I don’t mean RE-USE. It is taken to a recycling center where it’s properly DISPOSED. We understand that everyone has a right to their opinion, but unless Ms.Cates has valid proof that the material was re-used, she should NOT make such Fabricated Statements.
