BIG BIG Thanks to Carlos and his two colleagues, who have been very accommodating, patient and quick.
No surprises after having conducted a free estimate on sight for paining the complete 1st and 2nd floor. Carlos is very meticulous (which drove my girlfriend crazy as she was overwhelmed LOL). And that's why I knew that he would be THE MAN!
Carlos needed only 1 day notice for buying all the material, he came with two colleagues who were rocking the entire town house. They turned a depressing dirty-brown into warm and light colors and didn't even shy away from a closet's color which was already pealing off. So they took the effort and scraped it off in order to provide the best result possible afterwards (Thanks a lot guys!).
No surprises in terms of the costs by the way! Estimated costs have been the final costs without ifs and buts. In case there's any additional labor to be done, he will let you know coming up with a corresponding amount. Just fair.
Since I am located in Switzerland I couldn't see the result, but my sweet Brown Girl in the Ring (my girlfriend) was enthusing about Carlos' excellent work. I am so happy that everything worked so well.
Hope I can engage you guys for replacing the windows as well.
