This is the worst moving company I have experienced. They gave me quote of $1650 for move from San Diego to Little Rock, AR for weight of 3000 lb. The customer representative named Kamelia gave me quote and said pack everything except Bed and Sofas. She said the quote includes packing Bed and Sofas. Everything was fine till they come to pick our stuff. The guy came to load our stuff said I have to pay additional $500 for packing Bed and sofas. I called Kamelia and she didn't talk to me and instead transferred the call to her supervisor. After around 20-30 minutes of arguing, he agreed and said pay only $100 for wrapping materials used for Center table glass top. They started packing and loading at around 2 pm. They loaded all stuff except Bed by 7 pm. Then they said the total weight is going to be 5000 lb. When I told about the quote, they asked me to accompany to weigh station, which is 70 miles from my place. Earlier I had told them that I have very urgent meeting at 8 pm and I am going to fly tomorrow morning. So, I can't come. They said either come to the weigh station or pay $2850. Otherwise, we will unload all stuff, which they knew I am not going to let them do. I couldn't do anything at that point of time. They tried to take advantage of my situation. I said fine.
Two days later I talked to their supervisor, who said pay $2750. Fine. They told me that they will deliver my stuff after 21 business days. 3 days before the end of 21 days period, I called the supervisor. He told me the truck will start tomorrow and the driver will give you call a day before arrival, that will be 1 week from now. I called a week later and then supervisor said truck is on the way. I kept calling everyday after that. Finally the driver called me 10 days later.
After everything got unloaded, I noticed one stuff worth $100 was missing and a nice table lamp was broken. Later when I called them asking to file claim. The supervisor said send me email and picture, I will file your claim. I sent pictures and called him couple of days later. He said he didn't get email and send again. I did this 4 times but they didn't file claim and didn't tell me how and where to file claim.
I have moved 2 times earlier in 3 years. Both times my mover was nice and everything was very smooth. My experience with Prestige Moving and Storage was HORRIFYING. I don't recommend anybody to use their services.
