I visited this site and read a very negative review concerning Ovation, and mentioning Marc Allen by name. I can't speak to that review as I do not have the specifics,however I want to state I just closed and funded a refinance with Marc and it was a very good experience. Marc was very responsive, and followed through on every item discussed. He even made sure to lower the rate before closing. Refinancing is not always this easy, and every situation is different. However, in my specific case I could not be happier. I closed on a 4% fixed refinance even though my home's equity has taken a hit after the housing crisis.
