How long is, too long, to wait?

I made my first purchase from OutdoorPros the first part of August 2012 after a co-worker told me I could expect merchandise from them in one to two weeks. I am writing this on September 8th. OutdoorPros has given me two or three projected dates for my order to ship, all have come and gone. To be safe, or maybe to get me off of their back, they've now told me my order will ship around Thanksgiving. I don't want to lose 20% for restocking because it was a significant purchase and I can't afford to lose the money. Please don't be fooled by OutdoorPros.com reviews indicating any measure of customer satisfaction especially regarding shipping times. I'll update this summary if I ever get the few products I ordered and paid for upfront. Receiving the merchandise I paid OutdoorPros for someday, soon hopefully, will change my rating. As of this moment, I hope they are a legitimate business and not internet con-artists.
