Jason Tolerico (One-Timers) helped me get through the hell that is the California bar. I am grateful for his guidance and motivation throughout this process, especially since this was my second attempt and there was no way I could do it a third time. The best way to describe what Jason/One-Timers offers is simply by stating that Jason has thought of EVERYTHING that you will need and will provide you with all the tools necessary to pass the bar. You will need to put in the work, but Jason makes things manageable. He has you focus on the daily task, rather than what may lie ahead. Jason has you do the work that is assigned for the day and tells you to let him worry about tomorrow. Also, Jason is available what seems like 24 hours a day. Anytime I called or emailed with a question or concern, Jason was there to answer my question or ease my concern. Jason has a policy of returning graded essays and PTs within 24 hours (usually within a few hours). I received a lot of feedback (constructive criticism), which allowed me to improve my writing every time. For me, the critical breakdown that Jason does for the essays and MBEs was a key component of my aha moment. The critical breakdown (written in red) trained my brain to decipher what the bar examiners were looking for. I highly recommend browsing through his website, and in particular suggest looking at his model answers. With all that said, anyone considering this course must also take into consideration the "bad". Jason doesn't accept excuses for failing to accomplish the tasks at hand. He expects all the work to be done. Also, Jason can be brutally honest. If your practice exam is bad, he doesn't sugarcoat things and lull you into a sense of complacency. He tells it like it is. However, the "bad" can be a good thing because it will make you stronger, and drives you to do your best. Taking Jason's course was the BEST decision.
