Review 10/19/2009

In November 2008, I hired OMEGA SHIPPING WEST for a Door-to-Door Pasadena, CA – Paris, France. I have nothing positive to say about this firm.
The manager, Mr. Gregg Terrell started to underestimate the volume that was supposed to be moved. After the first visit, the volume came up to 600 cubic feet. I asked him to come back to check again. It came to be more than 700 cubic feet. On the moving day after packing, the total volume ends up to be 900 cubic feet.
Mr. Gregg Terrell asked me to pay up front the total amount. He took him more than two months to find an agent in France to pickup my belongings in Le Havre and to deliver it to my new address in Paris. OMEGA SHIPPING WEST finally contracted BEYER SIMON / DEMEPOL. BEYER SIMON / DEMEPOL ends up not being fully paid by OMEGA SHIPPING WEST.
Last month, I received a letter from BEYER SIMON / DEMEPOL saying they were still owed 2,000 Euros from OMEGA SHIPPING WEST and that unless they will be paid, they would refuse to deliver my belongings.
BEYER SIMON / DEMEPOL and I have try several times to contact OMEGA SHIPPING WEST. E-mails, phone calls and faxes to OMEGA SHIPPING WEST have gotten us nowhere.
