I contacted US Direct and requesteda quote online. Once I completed the information, I got a message indicating someone would be calling. I spoke to a person who took basic information and then transferred me to a warranty specialist. The indiviudal indicated that the quote he would be giving me is a one time offer and basically I would have to make a decision now.
I explained I am just getting pricing and informed him that his company is a B+ Rated company and I wanted to address some concerns. The individual was not very supportive and only interested in closing the deal. he indicated they represent the best insurance companies and he would not give me who he represented.
I was very concerned about the fact that a quote is only good at the time of call and it is a one time offer. Being that they are a broker, we have seen what has happend to the financial markets, what happens if they go out of business and you learn they never purchased a policy.
If this is an example of customer service, I would hate to make a purchase and deal with them on a claim. I informed the rep I am not intersted and we hung up. I completed a process with a company online that has an A+ rating and got a quote online without having to be called or make a purchase today.
This is a company that I need more information on and they are not very customer friendly in my opinion.

Our no call back process is to prevent pre-existing conditions. When we authorize a vehicle at the time of inquiry, we have a good idea of the health of the vehicle. Too many customers were calling back months later, with more vehicle problems and filing claims right after purchase. We do our best to support and protect ourselves along with our customers. However, we do deal with only a rated fully insured insurance agencies and can provide specific details if need be.
