This company is the beginning of a huge SCAM trying to dupe defenseless homeowners out of what little money they have left. National Legal Network is the intake company for USLMP,Inc. These are the people who decide whether or not you are "approved" for their program. You send them your qualifying documents to see if you are approved for their services. Then they let you know their services are $3000 (well at least this was my amount), then tell you they require payment upfront, ( which is against federal law, but this is a legal network) and if you do not have the full amount, you have to pay at least half. Then they pass those off to processors over at USLMP, Inc. for handling and that is where things get worst.
My initial contact was a man named Tom Kessler. But after he explained the program and how much it cost, I was hesitant to do business with them. After talking with my family, we decided to move forward. So I tried to give Tom a call. But after several unanswered messages, I thought it was over. About a week later, a man named Mike called me telling me he was Tom's manager and that Tom was moved to another department and someone would be calling me to go over my case. Maggie Nelson contacts me and she is Tom's replacement. So I deal with her and she was my contact. So I send her my my documents once again, make the $1500 payment, and she forward my documents to USLMP, Inc processor Lucy Flores.
Lucy then tells me she didn't receive my documents and I needed to resend them. I send them again by Priority Mail. A week later she says she just received them but she needed some additional documents. I fax her those. It has been two weeks since I heard from her. Constant calls, messages, and hounding for information didn't get me anywhere. So I request a refund and I am just pushed along to yet another person named Brian who is too important to have a direct line but has an extension, who has yet to call me back regarding my refund and highly doubt I will. The best thing I have done was put a stop payment on the second payment to them with my bank.
National Legal Network Is just the beginning of a huge mistake. DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY!!! If you have, I'm sorry but you may never get it back. Stop all communications and I suggest you take the time to join the BBB and file a complaint and let others know about this company. Take a look at USLMP, Inc. BBB file. That will give you more insight to what this company is really about.
