I received a notice in the mail which was deceiving to begin with, they made it seem as thou my mortgage company sent it and it was somehow related to HUD. My wife phoned in and the Company was not our bank and was calling itself COREPACK. Sam Walters was the guy that claimed he had completed this miracle within minutes of putting us on hold and wanted us to pay, get this, NOT COREPACK, but National Home Assistance $2500.00. He sounded very professional and knowledgable too, so we did. This company has completetly robbed and scammed us. We first spoke w/ Sam Walters 6 months ago, paid money upfront, which was my first mistake. Sam claimed he works with attorneys, which he does not. The address he claims to be Corporate is nothing more than a PO Box... This guy will pull any promise out of his hat, claim he has a legal department and full staff, which he has none of. We had to continously call him for updates for months. If we ever did reach him on the phone, the update was some on the fly drawn up blank explanation, which didn't amount to anything. We could never meet any attorney or legal staff, not even a processor for our file, just this clown himself, Sam Walters. National Home Assistance doesn't even have an office. Just a fast talking one man operation on a cell phone ripping families off. We have since gotten our own loan MOD done and can not get even a penny of our money refunded......
