perfecting incompetence as a business model

For 4 months in a row they were not able to correctly process my simple HOA payments correctly (which by the way were mailed through a payment service weeks before the due date). Even after submitting proof they tried to use late fees and accumulated interest to push me into making double payments. Even better... an employee had already corrected the mistakes when the owner Mark forced to have the corrections reversed. After providing even more proof of their incompetence and when they finally had to admit they screwed up they never took even the slightest ownership for the issue, blaming a third party… all of it well documented in an email trail. I am wondering how often this tactic works to allow them to pocket double payments for a 100% margin. I strongly advise to avoid this company at all cost.
