The company uses dishonest practices to charge hefty amounts for the move. They will quote you an hourly rate then will present you with a contract which also has a list of packaging material that is highly over priced. For example a mirror pack is priced at $25. However after the move is finished they will tell you that each mirror or picture was secured with 4 or 5 mirror packs so if you are moving a mirror glass or marble table they will bill you betwwen $ to $200 for packing each item. The way the contract is presented you will assume that each mirror would need one mirror pack but eventually you will be presented with a hefty packaging material bill. Also they will try and offer you an estimated price that is very high and will verbally assure you that it will never bew that high and the number is just a very high limit. You should insist on a written estimate to include all the packaging material.
