I've been having issues with getting my refund back since September 2010. I recently filed a complaint with BBB, after many calls to various people and messages being left unanswered by various people, I was able to reach James Assali, hopefully he'll last longer than many of the other people I dealt with. He was very helpful in getting my refund issue resolved. He provided me with a plan of action as they are going through very difficult financial times due to poor business practices and what I was told previously, by staff who would take their money and run before the loan could even be completely approved. It seems as though they are trying to get back on their feet and become a legitimate company. I'm appreciative of James' responsiveness and will be checking back on BBB to follow up when I finally get my credit back on my amex that I charged the deposit on.
UPDATE: I received my credit back on my American Express. James Assali is the go to guy when it comes to results. James was resposible for getting my refund after many months of trying. I sure hope he lasts longer than the other I've had to deal with at Meredian
