Here's what I have learned about this company:
1. The cost to be a part of their Property Scouting Program is incredibly underpriced compared to the value and training you get. I have signed up and I am amazed at all the training I got. And what's great is they don't try to nickel and dime you to death.
2. Based upon what I have seen with my own eyes and heard with my own ears, there's no way this company deserves an "F" rating. The company basically says the reason is they won't comply with the BBB because the BBB has no right to ask for the information they want. Heck, as a property scout, I am making the big bucks, and it's not anybody's business but mine, so I am glad they are not sharing my information. I don't want it showing up on the Internet.
3. Their support is phenomenal. It is staffed by active property scouts and investors. You get to ask them questions and they are super helpful. Their support people are just as smart as the trainers.
4. The deals I have submitted are currently "under research". I have two good ones so far. I asked them what this means and they said they are doing their own internal research on the properties based upon what I submitted to them. It's a really good sign.
5. I did ask them why they don't want us calling on the phone or using email and they said that their online support system is better, because more support people can respond and add their own ideas, there's tracking of the question so they can see the history of responses and the answer doesn't get lost in email or the junk folders. That makes sense to me. All the questions and answers are in one place.
6. Their property submission website is really neat. I have never seen anything like it. It tracks the properties all the way through to purchase. It also has a private message board for communication with the real estate project manager who's working on the deal. So once my properties are moved forward and accepted, the project manager and I communicate directly regarding next steps.
7. I once paid $8,600 to a company who trained me to look for junker houses and said if I brought them a deal, they would fund it for me up to $500,000. This is not anything like that. These guys are real estate investors and the reason they are teaching people how to be property scouts is because they are looking for good deals all around the country to buy and add value to.
8. I do this part time because I am still working full time. Someday soon, I am going to quit my full time job and do property scouting full time with my wife. Now that I have been trained, I can see all sorts of opportunities. The good thing is you don't have to sell anyone on anything.
