needs major improvement

I thought it might just be me, but after reading all of their poor Google reviews and speaking with other tenants it is in fact not just me....The associates at mark anderson are the epitome of rude. Every time I have spoken with them I can feel their hostility through the phone as though speaking with me was a torcher for them. Even their response to a simple "hi, how are you" comes with a sigh, if your fortunate enough to get through to someone. I can't see how this company stays in business with poor reviews as old as 5 years + this is obviously an on going problem. Aside from the associates bad attitudes they are also scandalous when it comes to getting your money. Ex: I paid my rent on the first, however I was one day late submitting my utilities check on the 2nd. On the 3rd I received a bill from their "attorney" stating I owed $150 in legal fees. Since I didn't pay the utilities ($15) on the first they assumed I was never going to and proceeded to get an attorney to assist in my eviction. I tried disputing this fee since I obviously wanted to stay seeing as I had paid the full rent, but this only seemed to cause more problems and attitude..."if you don't like it you can move". I ended up paying the fee and then raked up 3 more. From the start of my lease I felt like they wanted me out which made no sense since I was a quiet tenant who paid rent on time and never bothered them with handyman problems. I am usually not one to complain, this is actually the first review I have ever written....but something really needs to be done about this. No one deserves to be treated poorly for no apparent reason, especially when your a paying client. I really loved my apartment but could not stand writing these people one more check so I broke my lease after just 7 months. Which really seemed like their goal....So congratulations mark anderson on another deposit pocketed, another empty unit and another poor review.
