I can't say enough good things about MadeinUSAforever.com. I actually heard about them from my boyfriend who's an avid supporter of american made products. He works for a family owned sawmill so he knows and understands first hand the great impact of making a conscious decision to seek out AMERICAN made products. This site helps you do that, plain and simple.
I ordered the Roy Toy tree house and the big barn (similar to lincoln logs) for his nephews for Christmas. The experience was very pleasant. I called the site's phone number (three days before Christmas) and almost fell out of my chair when a live human actually answered the phone…there was NO recording asking you to press '0' for this and press '1' for that. In my book, that is almost extinct these days. The lady who answered the phone was also AMERICAN. When I told her how I procrastinated buying the nephews' Christmas gifts this year and that I was really hoping to get them on Christmas Eve (a Monday). She eagerly and physically went to retrieve the 2 canisters (of toys) to assure me they had them in stock and to not waste my money spending the extra $$ on "second day air" shipping because it was not necessarily guaranteed. She said that Priority mail should make it to my door and was a LOT less expensive and that if I placed the order now, she would make sure they went in the mail that same day (Friday). Well, I placed the order and thanked her for her time…3 days later, on Christmas Eve, the mailman knocked on our door with the toys! I was so excited that they arrived JUST IN TIME!
(The best part) LAst but not least, the lady who took my order wrote a hand written note on the receipt saying "thanks for ordering from us, I hope these made it to your house on time". Call me old-fashioned, but to me it's the little things like that that mean soooo much these days!!
I was so happy to have a great experience with this company and at the same time, ordering a product that was produced in the USA! My boyfriend buys the Texas Jeans and loves them, he has 2 pair for work and 2 pair he wears when we go out and about. I also ordered 3 books (2 for gifts) that Todd (the founder of the site) wrote about the significance of buying American made products…I'm very eager to sit down and read it when time allows me to :)
Anytime I need something that this site sells, I will always try my best to spend the extra couple minutes to log on my computer or phone and order from them or any other company who can sell themselves as well as this company has. My goal is to NEVER BY CHINA-made-crap IF I can help it.
