My wife and I made a reservation for a hotel in Italy for 2 nights through Luxury Link's vacationist.com web site. It sounded like a good deal and they emailed us the receipt to show the hotel at checkin time and charged my wife's credit card. About a MONTH later we get an email from them telling us that there is no space in the hotel!! By this time there are very few hotels in Rome available as it is 3 weeks before our visit. I would not recommend using the vacationist.com site if you want to be confident that you have a reservation. Although they did refund our money they made no attempt to find a comparable hotel reservation.
