I would not ever waste my time or money with Linder's Furniture in Torrance. We paid $4,000 in cash and in full for an eight piece Paula Deen bedroom furniture set that has not been delivered 4 months later. They said the original delivery date was 4-6 weeks, then it became 2 months, then 3 months and now 4 months. We still have have no actual delivery date and no furniture. They refunded our delivery charge of $129.99 this month, but they still have our $3,870.01 and we have no furniture. They haven't even offered to deliver the pieces they have in the warehouse. They say they can not tell us why there is a delay with the other pieces, they have mentioned something about their vendor and at one point someone said something about a container. No one in customer service is willing to tell us what is really going on with our furniture and where it is, where it is coming from, and why it is delayed, time and time again.
It has been especially disappointing and frustrating because this was for a new home and was the first time my husband and I had ever purchase bedroom furniture in our lives. I can't believe that a company thinks it is ok to get $4,000 from people and never deliver a product. This is theft. The Customer Service representatives, Veronica, Rosa, and Marcella have not been very responsive either. They have not returned calls and there are no managers available to resolve this issue. The managers, Bertha, Sue, and John are not in the office. The store manager that we purchase from Gary, was moved to another store. The new manager Jay has not called me back yet. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I would never buy anything from this company or recommend them to anyone. They are one of the worst companies I have ever seen operate. Make sure you put your hard earned money into companies you can trust.
