Do not be fooled by this company's "C" rating. It was able to bring it up by responding to consumer complaints with generic letters that do not even address the complaint itself. I filed a complaint against Legal Authority with the BBB and both responses were prewritten, boilerplate letters. They did not address a single concern I had or answer any of my questions. Needless to say, the issue was not resolved yet by simply responding, albeit the irrelevance of the response, the company is able to somewhat maintain a higher rating. I don't not need to explain how unethical this company is because the previous posts are accurate. I believe this company is tantamount to a scam and I have filed a complaint with the California Department of Consumer Affairs, which said it would investigate the matter. Do not be fooled by this company. Do you homework and ask what service they actually provide before throwing away your money. I have never dealt with such an unethical company. After they charged my credit card, they refused to answer any of my calls or e-mails and I could not get in touch with my representative. I submitted the matter to my credit card company and they issued me a complete refund without question, which is very rare. That in itself should tell you what kind of company Legal Authority really is. I also contacted my Law School to warn other students about the deceptive practices of Legal Authority. I have also read complaints from other attorneys and students that have done the same and their schools subsequently broke all contact with the company. The only reason I give them 1 star is because 0 stars is not an option. I feel stupid and naive for actually giving this company my money. I was lucky enough to get it back from my credit card company, but you might not be as lucky.
