I have known Michael Berger for over 25 years, during which time I have watched him grow from a solo practitioner to the head of a major Beverly Hills bankruptcy law firm. Michael has represented our real estate company on a variety of matters, including matters relating to collections, litigation, and general business law. He has also represented my family and relatives on personal matters with outstanding results for which I am very grateful. Because of his integrity, experience, and knowledge of the law, it has been my pleasure to refer many of my friends to him, all of who have had the same positive experience. One case of which I am particularly proud is a case I referred to Michael on behalf of my neighbor, an old lady who had obtained a six-figure judgment against a doctor. To avoid paying my neighbor, the doctor filed bankruptcy. It appeared as if all hope were lost and my neighbor would recover nothing. Michael was able to uncover one of the doctor's hidden assets, a house in France, and was able to get the doctor's bankruptcy discharge revoked, resulting in the doctor being prosecuted for felony bankruptcy fraud. The house in France was sold by special counsel Michael obtained, and my neighbor was able to recover her money in full. In another matter dear to my heart, I referred a widow to Michael who had been unjustly sued in an Adversary Proceeding to Deny Dischargability. Michael was able to get the case dismissed, and the creditor recovered nothing. I am proud of my association with Mr. Berger and thank him for all he has done for my company, for me personally, and for my friends which I referred to him these past 25 years. -- Paris Nourafchan
